Manga meets tarot — and the result is exactly as dynamic as you'd hope. The Mystical Manga Tarot by Barbara Moore and artist Rann captures the bold characters, vivid color, and narrative energy of Japanese graphic novels and channels it directly into the Rider-Waite system. Every card feels like a panel from a story you want to keep reading.
Because it's built on the RWS framework, this deck is genuinely beginner-friendly — the symbolism is familiar, the structure is sound, and the 216-page full-color guidebook by Barbara Moore gives you everything you need to start reading with confidence. But the artwork makes it feel anything but basic.
At 2.75" x 4.6", the cards are a comfortable reading size, and the boxed kit (5.5" x 8") makes it a solid gift for anyone who grew up loving anime and always sensed there was magic in the story.
Perfect for
Beginners who want a visually engaging entry point into tarot, and anime fans ready to bring that aesthetic into their practice.
